The Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) Working Group (ATAG WG) develops guidelines and techniques to assist authoring tool software developers to make tools, and the content that the tools generate, more accessible to people with disabilities.

The Working Group Charter outlines the goals, work methods, and requirements for participation.

Work of the WCAG WG is in accordance with the W3C Process. ATAG WG work is funded in part by the WAI Core project. The work of this group does not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the funders.

For consumer-oriented authoring tool information, please see Selecting and Using Authoring Tools for Web Accessibility (published by the WAI Education and Outreach working group).
